    91 Points – Queste

“A generous, feminine Pinot Noir, so softly fresh and fruity, it should be opened now. There’s a meaty, mushroomy edge to the raspberry and cherry fruit, as well as elaborately sweet new oak and exotic spice flavors.” — September 2011, Wine Enthusiast

92 Points Two Puffs – Queste

“Standing out as the sleekest and most stylish of the several TR Elliott Pinots, Quest is a deep and still youthful wine that is at once very solid and somewhat pretty…like its mates, a neatly tailored, exceptionally well-balanced wine…” — June 2011, Connoisseur’s Guide

  • Russian River Valley Pinot Noir "Burgonet" 2010

The Burgonet is a selection of nine barrels from our O'Connell Vineyard. This two-acre vineyard sits atop a knoll of Vine Hill Ridge in western Sonoma County. It is planted exclusively to the Pommard Cultivar of Pinot Noir.

The grapes were handpicked on September 25th with yields of 1.8 tons per acre. The grapes were hand-sorted, cold-soaked and fermented (20% whole cluster, native yeast) in small open-top stainless steel vats prior to aging 11 months in French oak barrels. A poor flower set in May and two days of extreme heat in June stressed the vines, and led to the intensity of the 2010 vintage.
