Spain: Tempore

The Tempore winery was born from the passion for wine and vineyards of the Yago Aznar family, deeply rooted in this land of extreme conditions, of thirst and sun. They have vast knowledge of vineyards and have long understood that the quality of a wine must be based on impeccable raw material.

“A good wine is born on the vine” is the premise for the painstaking care we put into our 30 hectares of vineyards (about 80 acres). In a area with extreme conditions, minimal precipitation and great temperature contrasts, we cultivate our vineyards that are composed of the more traditional old vine Grenache and the more modern Tempranillo plantations. Our commitment to the environment is the basis for our philosophy: our vineyards are cultivated under strict parameters of ecological agriculture, which favor the natural cycles of the plant in absence of aggressive treatments.
